The production of Lamborghini has been suspended from March 13-25 and might be longer, depending on how the world handles the COVID-19 outbreak. On top of that, Ferrari is also at a full shutdown with two factories located in Italy, at least for the month of March.

Part suppliers can’t support manufacturing, which is just one of the reasons for the suspension. Automakers said they may continue with other operations, but only time will tell.

Lamborghini is an Italian brand that produces luxury SUVs and sports cars. The automaker is based out of Sant’Agata Bolognese. Volkswagen currently owns this company through Audi. The carmaker produces a V10-powered Huracan, a V8 Urus SUV and a V12 Aventador. Plus, the company makes V12 engines for powerboats.

Right now, the Telluride is holding the title of North American Utility of the Year. It is winning customers and critics hearts with the bargain price and higher levels of refinement. In fact, the base price range for this Telluride is $33,060-$42,960 and Kia can’t seem to build enough of these SUVs for the demand.

The Mazda3 boasts about its best-in-class driving dynamics, quality and value with the hatchback and sedan models. Something scarce on compact sedans is all-wheel-drive that can be added, such as this model offers. Plus, this vehicle starts at just $22,445.

On the other hand, people have described the Mazda CX-30 as an SUV coupe variant of Mazda3. These vehicles share the same platform with a 186 horsepower 4-cylinder engine and all-wheel-drive. However, this may split the votes Mazda receives and makes Kia the winner.

The very beloved Dodge Grand Caravan is sadly going to be discontinued. The automaker confirmed that on May 22nd, the Caravan will end production. What does this mean for families across America?

Brief Dodge Grand Caravan History

The Caravan and Plymouth Voyager were both introduced together in 1984. These two models helped satisfy the minivan craze until the 1990’s when families started purchasing SUVs.

Dodge produced five generations of the Grand Caravan, with the most recent one starting in 2008. Sales in the US hit 300,000 during 1996 and 1997. Since then, they have been in the 100,000-150,000 range for the last 10 years, further proving that customers are no longer looking for this type of vehicle.

What’s To Come

While the carmaker has not confirmed any new models that will permanently replace the Dodge Caravan, some suggest that there will be a Pacifica-based utility vehicle option in the future.

For now, FCA will use the Voyager name to make an entry-level Pacifica coming in the 2020 model year. This should take Caravan’s spot and be a lower-budget option for those that need to watch the cost.

You can purchase the Caravan through 2020. However, this vehicle is not for sale in the following states due to stricter emission laws.

Plus, it comes standard with Bluetooth and an AM/FM stereo along with 4 speakers.

If you’re planning to purchase this truck, you need to get it now. The manufacturer is replacing the 4-cylinder with a V6. Furthermore, they are redesigning the vehicle for the 2021 model year, which will increase the price.

Ram 1500 Classic (Full-size)

This is one of the cheapest V8 trucks available today. However, it comes standard with a V6 for $29,340; to add on the V8, you only pay $1,495 more. The least expensive trim is called Classic, which is the older version of the truck. Base configurations with this trim are a two-door work truck with a V6 engine.

Ford F-Series Super Duty (Heavy Duty)

The standard F-250 includes a 6.2 liter V8 that produces 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. You can purchase this truck for $35,300. This is a big difference from the top-of-the-line F-450 Limited. To own one of these models, you could easily spend $100,000 instead.

Initial estimates stated that the industry would decline by .09%. However, new studies from Moody’s show the sales could fall by 2.5%. The demand for vehicles continues to weaken and carmakers are having trouble getting supplies because they want to contain the coronavirus.

China is the world’s largest car market and also the start of the outbreak. So, they are seeing less production and a profound change in shopping patterns. Many automakers operate near Ground Zero, including Kia, Nissan, Honda and Peugeot. With production halted, automakers are suffering.

Plus, people are avoiding crowded places. Some people are staying indoors because the government quarantined them, while others have a genuine concern about their own health. Either way, foot traffic is down in public places, such as car lots. 

In addition, there are new carbon emissions that negatively affect automakers, especially those trying to fund electric vehicle production. They have trouble financing these projects and innovations because of the conventional car sales drop.

In 2019, global car sales declined by 4.6%. It shall be interesting to see what the rest of 2020 will bring.

2021 Toyota Supra 3.0-Liter Turbo Inline-6

47 more horsepower has been added to the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline 6-cylinder. That will take the hp up to a total of 382. Plus, BMW co-developed the chassis and motor on this coupe. Plus, BMW uses the same parts on their Z4 convertible.

The added power is from new pistons and a re-engineered exhaust manifold. These new additions increase the compression ratio in the engine of the Toyota Supra. With that said, the rear-wheel-drive car can go from 0-60 mph in 3.9 sec. Plus, Toyota re-turned the steering, suspension, management systems and traction management to improve handling.

2021 Toyota Supra 2.0-Liter Turbo 4

For people who prefer less power, there’s an option for you to, the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. You will receive 255 horsepower with this choice in the 2021 Supra. This is the first year with this engine, which is what interests most people.

What Toyota Excites You?

Before you decide which engine you like better, it’s essential to talk about pricing. Unfortunately, the price wasn’t revealed yet. However, we do expect to find this out closer to the release in June. What we can tell you is that the 2020 model available currently has a starting price of $50,945. We imagine that the inline-6 will cost significantly more than the Turbo 4 model, but unsure how the starting price will change overall.

When the Gladiator arrived, Jeep enthusiasts went crazy. Now that it is entering the second model year, it’s time for Jeep to step up its game and take on the Raptor off-road trim. The Jeep Gladiator Mojave Package is the model created to fulfill the need. Let’s take a closer look.

What is the Jeep Gladiator Mojave?

The Gladiator formed to follow in the Wrangler footsteps, with the addition of a truck bed. The automaker didn’t need to make a lot of adjustments to make this model happen. For some Jeep fans, it just wasn’t enough, which is why the Mojave package became a reality.

This upgrade offers far more than a base Gladiator, but it takes a different direction from the Rubicon. Enhancements focus on speed and include a reinforced chassis, 33-inch all-terrain tires and a rear locking axle. In addition, Fox Racing shocks come standard with reservoirs around them to keep the equipment from overheating. The front of the Gladiator Mojave is also raised an additional inch. This height offers a better approach angle, but the departure angle isn’t as great as the Rubicon.

Hardcore off-road enthusiasts will be pleased to find out that this Jeep Gladiator Mojave is available with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. If you are planning to have fun in the sand, you might prefer the automatic option, so you don’t lose any momentum from human error.

We don’t know the price of this new Gladiator model yet. However, reports suggest it might start around the same price as a Rubicon, which is set at $43,875. We also expect this truck to enter the competition this Spring.

For the 2021 model year, Cadillac is equipping its Escalade with an enhanced version of Super Cruise. This feature is a semi-autonomous driver system and this will be the first SUV the automaker has added it to. The option is also going to be available on the CT5 and CT4 sedan.

What is Super Cruise?

Super Cruise was first available in the 2017 CT6 sedan. The system can drive a vehicle autonomously in a lane on specific highways. This means the driver doesn’t have to put a foot on the pedals or hands on the steering wheel. Cadillac’s system uses a camera with facial recognition, so the vehicle will know if the motorist has their eyes open and are looking straight.

The automaker claims over 10,000 CT6s sold with the Super Cruise system. The company also states that the vehicles have racked up more than 5.2 million times with the feature activated.

Cadillac’s newest models are going to receive automated lane-changing capability. This feature turns on by merely activating the turn signal. It will then merge your vehicle into traffic when safe to do so, specific requirements are met and it has taken the time to warn other cars. The system will also display a message on the dash to let the driver know that the feature is on.

Some of the newest updates also include more map information, improvements that make it easier for motorists to activate the system, and better software for proper speed control and steering.

New Escalade Debut

However, this isn’t a luxury vehicle so it should be cheaper to purchase. This EV has outsold many of Tesla’s rivals because of the minimalistic cabin and its cargo space.

This EV has a starting price that is a little higher than the Tesla at $38,500. The range is much lower than it should be at 111 miles. However, Kia is planning to release an updated version of the Soul for the 2021 model year and it should be able to drive 243 mi on a single charge. Until then, you will be thankful for the roomy seats, high-quality materials, excellent crash test scores and almost perfect reliability ratings, making this vehicle a great value.

The starting price on this Tesla is higher than all of the other models listed here at $75,000. However, it’s for good reason because the Model S Tesla has a driving range of 259 to 373 miles. This Tesla also has lots of room for cargo and passengers. 2021 GMC Canyon AT4 Details

This new package comes standard with 31-inch Goodyear tires wrapped around 17-inch aluminum wheels. It also includes a 308 horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine, an electronic locking limited-slip rear end, a suspension built for off-roading that consists of a system for hill descent control, red tow hooks and a large front grille.

You also receive AT4 embroidery on the headrests, heated and cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, Apple CarPlay, Premium GMC Infotainment System, wireless smartphone charging and Waze compatibility.

You can also opt for the 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine with 369 lb-ft of torque. However, this motor will increase the price.

There are five color options with the AT4. Choose from Cayenne Red Tintcoat, Onyx Black, Satin Steel Metallic, Desert Sand Metallic or Summit White. If you want a premium color, it will cost you extra.

New Canyon AT4 Release Date
