All little kids played with Hot Wheels at some time – it’s just part of childhood. That’s what makes the newest Hot Wheels Commemorative Stamps so exciting. They’re hitting the press as the iconic car brand celebrates their 50th anniversary.
Hot Wheels Commemorative Stamps
The U.S. Postal Service is honoring Hot Wheels with their own Forever Stamp to commemorate their 50th anniversary. The Hot Wheels Commemorative Stamps feature ten cars from the past. They are available in sheets of 20 – on sale for just $10 per sheet.
The Hot Wheels being showcased on the stamps include:
- 1971 Rocket-Bye-Baby
- 1990 Purple Passion
- 1994 Rigor Motor
- 2018 Mach Speeder
- 1974 Rodger Dodger
- 2006 Bone Shaker
- 1987 The Sharkruiser
- 1968 Deora
Each sheet of 20 features the car twice. Even if you’ve only glanced at Hot Wheels a few times in your life, chances are, you’ve seen many of these models. They are pictured on the Hot Wheels orange track and were photographed by Len Rizzi.
On the stamp, you’ll find the picture of the car written in matching text, plus the USA Forever written next to the orange race track. On the other side of the sheet, you’ll notice the Hot Wheels’ 50th-anniversary logo.
